All Credit Cards Will Upgrade

To VISA Platinum

"Enjoy the Prestige of Platinum"

Studies have shown that members want to have the highest level of distinction with credit cards, so we are now giving all of our current VISA Gold and Classic cardholders a brand new card with the preferred Platinum logo! Same card number- same rate- same terms, but with a more prestigious name and appearance. As your credit union, we are here to serve our members and offer the most up-to-date and desired products and services that are out there.

What will change?

  • There is no more Classic or Gold- Only VISA Platinum!
  • A fancier and more attractive card design with the Financial Assurance logo
  • Expiration dates will be pushed out 1 year
  • 3 digit Security Code on the back of the plastic

What will remain the same?

  • Your credit card number
  • All rates, features and benefits
  • All terms and conditions
  • Your earned ScoreCard® Rewards points (if applicable)
  • Your PIN to access funds

The process:

  • During the 1st week of November 2009, all qualifying* credit card holders will be mailed their new Platinum plastic.
  • Simply sign and activate your new card
  • Your old card(s) will be deactivated after 60 days from the mailing date, or when you activate your new card- whichever comes first.
  • If you have any recurring or scheduled payments, make sure to update the Expiration Date on file.

*Cardholders that qualify for Platinum excludes members with any the following: Hard blocks excluding over-limit and delinquent, 10% over limit, 60 days past due, cards with an expiration date of 12/09, cards with zero plastics out, and cards ordered in the current month.
